ABOUT ME

Megan Metcalf studied Textile Design at Central Saint Martins School of Art and Design. She has over 12 years experience as a Creative Research professional and Colour Material Design. Since moving to Margate 8 years ago she has also spent time developing her art practice. She also runs a live events reportage illustration enterprise ‘The House of Live Illustration’ 


Megan is an intuitive expressive artist whose inspiration comes from her mindful approach to the here and now. She documents these moments in time with live reportage style illustration as well as creating pieces using mixed media and the environment.

Her work and approach is fresh and interesting, truthful and tender.
